This is an excellent base for exploring Nice and beyond. The apartment, located in a safe, clean, and central building, is in tip-top condition. As is often pointed out, the train station is close, but so is the center. The coast is even easier to reach. As promised by the gracious owner, Declan, the bed is firm enough for those travelers who suffer from bad backs. Working with both Declan and his representative in Nice was a breeze. All in all - a highly recommended place!

Would have no hesitation on recommending this apartment. The description of the apartment and area are very accurate. We were met at the apartment by Declan and Helen who took time to explain how everything worked and about the area. We had a comfortable stay in the apartment which was well equiped with everything you need including extras like the welcome pack, books, games etc. We hired a car for travelling further afield than Nice but used the trams, bus and the train all of which are within a few minutes of the apartment to get around NIce. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Apartment is great value for money.
When booking the apartment nothing was too much trouble for Declan, he answered any questions we had promptly.

Spent a week in Nice - good weather, great restaurants and a very central apartment. Easy to walk to from bus station (short bus journey from airport) and very close to the old city. Very lively, friendly city with good shopping for those of us who like to have a little retail therapy...... Apartment description very good, agent at property to show us around and answer any questions about Nice which was very helpful. Would recommend. It is on 4th floor but lift available. JessicaAnne

Lovely apartment, located ideally for exploring Nice and other areas of the Riveria. Owners very helpful and made an effort to meet our every need, providing an agent to show us around and solve any problems we encoutered during our stay. The extra touches, like the welcome pack of groceries and the tourist pack of information really helped make the holiday one to remember, and we will definitely return here on our next visit to Nice.

Our first time in Nice, apartment is so convenient for bus from airport; train to Monoco, Cannes; shopping; the old town; the sea and promenade des Anglais. Apartment itself is lovely, clean, very well maintained, comfortable and spacious, even better than we expected, in well kept building. Nice touches like local info(supermarket, bakery, restaurants, bank machine), some supplies like coffee and tea, novels in English, (TV etc as described too which we had no time to check out!). Owner very helpful and responded quickly. I would have no hesitation recommending this apartment to my friends.
Me and my 17yr old daughter stayed in this apartment in April 2008. Our initial enquiry was answered promptly and the property was exactly as described.
It was very easy to find and our first impressions were that it was a very smart and well maintained block of apartments.
The apartment was spotless with a beautiful bathroom and a lovely spacious bedroom and livingroom. The kitchen is compact with new appliances and there was all the equipment we need.
I would recommend this property (in fact I already have!) and would definitely stay here again. It was really nice.
